People Data Analyst

Location: Huntingdon or Peterborough Office
Type: Full-Time | Hybrid Working (2 days in-office per week, flexible)
Temporary - Initial 6 month contract. Monday - Friday 37 hours per week

We're currently supporting our client in the search for a skilled People Data Analyst with a strong background in HR data analysis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced analyst to step into a role where they'll manage, manipulate, and control people-related data to support strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and manage HR data to identify trends, anomalies, and cost breakdowns (e.g. cost by role)
• Provide insight into salary data and organisational costings
• Handle data integrity, reporting and controls - particularly using Excel
• Support with Workday reporting (prior experience useful, but not essential)
• Produce accurate, data-led insights for stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience as an HR Analyst or Senior Analystin a people or HR-related function
• Strong Excelskills - confident in formulas, pivots, lookups, etc.
• Good understanding of financial acumenand salary/cost data
• Comfortable navigating IT systems - including exposure to Workday reporting
• Attention to detail and ability to spot data issues or inconsistencies
