Job Description - People Services Administrator

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading utilities company as a People Services Administrator in Coventry, CV7 9JU. This role is expected to end July 2026, full-time 37 hour working role within a call centre environment. The hourly rate is £13.01 per hour.

The working hours are, 5 days a week. Working 8 hours a day between the hours of 09:00 - 17:00, Hybrid working (once signed off) applies split between the office and at home, you will need to have the correct setup to work from home, Laptop will be provided.

Start date will be 26th August 2025. Full training will be provided

Your training will be based at their brand-new purpose-built building located on Ansty Park in Coventry.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the People Services team on a 12-month contract, where you’ll provide first-line support, coordinate key HR activities, and help maintain a high-quality employee experience.

Key Responsiblities

  • Customer-Focused Impact - Be the first point of contact for HR queries, delivering timely and accurate support across a wide range of topics.
  • Collaborative Culture - Work closely with HR Advisors, Employee Relations, and other stakeholders to ensure joined-up service delivery.
  • Operational Excellence - Support core HR processes including absence management, performance reviews, and reward administration.
  • Professional Growth - Gain hands-on experience in a dynamic HR environment, with opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Hands-On Experience - Respond to HR queries, coordinate documentation, maintain records, and support key HR processes including absence and reward management.

About you

  • Working towards CIPD Level 3 - or equivalent experience in HR or a related field.
  • Strong administrative skills - with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - and familiarity with HR systems.
  • Excellent communication - and customer service skills.
  • Effective time management - with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Proactive and collaborative approach - to problem-solving and teamwork.
