Personal or Mixed Tax Senior/Manager

TPF Recruitment is proud to be supporting a highly regarded and well-established accountancy firm in Horsham in their search for a Mixed or Personal Tax Professional. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax specialist to join a friendly, growing team in a firm that values its people and offers genuine career progression.

The firm is open to considering candidates at different levels, from Senior through to Manager, depending on experience. The key requirement is a strong background in tax gained within a practice environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of personal and/or mixed tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, directors, partnerships and sole traders. You will handle both compliance and advisory work, depending on your level of experience and interest.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of personal and/or mixed tax clients
  

• Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns
  

• Supporting clients with tax planning, including areas such as CGT, IHT, residency and remuneration strategies
  

• Liaising with HMRC and clients on queries and correspondence
  

• Supervising and mentoring junior staff (Manager level)
  

• Supporting partners and senior managers with ad hoc advisory projects
  

What We're Looking For

• Solid UK practice experience in personal or mixed tax is essential
  

• ATT, CTA or part-qualified/qualified by experience
  

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  

• A proactive, client-focused approach
  

• Ability to manage deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team
