Are you a Band 6 Pharmacist looking for an exciting locum opportunity in an NHS hospital dispensary? No prior hospital experience? No problem! Full training will be provided.

• Location: Southampton (NHS Hospital)
• Duration: 3-6 months
• Schedule: 3-5 days per week, 9 AM - 5 PM (30-min lunch)

Join our pharmacy team and gain valuable hospital experience while working in the dispensary. Your responsibilities will include:

• Dispensing and checking prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients
• Providing medication advice to healthcare professionals and patients
• Supporting stock management and ensuring safe medicine supply
• Learning and applying NHS policies and procedures
• Working alongside experienced pharmacy professionals in a supportive environment

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• GPhC registration as a pharmacist
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive attitude to patient care and professional development

No prior hospital experience required – full training will be provided!

This role offers flexibility, requiring availability for 3-5 days per week, 9 AM-5 PM. The contract is 3-6 months with potential for extension.
