Pharmacist - Band 6/7 - County Durham - Wards/Dispensary

• Location: County Durham
• Duration: 6-month contract (potential for extension)
• Schedule: 3-5 days per week, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch)

Join our team as a Band 6/7 Pharmacist and gain valuable NHS hospital experience in a dynamic and supportive setting. In this role, you will:

• Work in the hospital dispensary and on wards (if experienced in ward-based roles)
• Support patient care by ensuring safe and effective use of medicines
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise treatment plans
• Provide expert medication advice to patients and healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate records and uphold NHS policies

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
• Previous hospital experience preferred but not essential
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to high-quality patient care

This role offers a flexible 3-5 day working week (Monday to Friday), with 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM shifts. The contract is for 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
