• Job Title: Pharmacist – Band 7/8a

• Location: Sunderland

• Duration: 6-month contract

• Schedule: Mondays only, plus block bookings of 3 full weeks every 2 weeks (9am–5:30pm, 1-hour lunch)

Join our team as a Pharmacist in a dispensary-based role and make a positive impact on patient care. In this role, you will:

• support the dispensary service with day-to-day operations

• check prescriptions for accuracy and safety

• provide clinical input and ensure compliance with regulations

• work with colleagues to maintain efficient dispensing processes

• deliver a high-quality, patient-focused service

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• a current and valid GPhC registration

• no prior hospital experience required (full support provided)

• strong communication and organisational skills

• the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a dispensary setting

• a commitment to patient safety and high-quality care

This role offers a Monday-only schedule plus a 3-week block every 2 weeks, working 9am–5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch. The contract runs for 6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on service needs.
