• Job Title: Locum Pharmacist (Band 7/8a)
• Location: Sheffield, NHS Hospital
• Duration: 3-6 months
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (30-minute lunch) – will consider 3 or 4 days per week

Join our team as a Locum Pharmacist and play a key role in patient care within a busy NHS hospital setting. In this role, you will:

? Work across both surgical and medical wards, ensuring safe and effective medication use
? Support the hospital dispensary team with checking prescriptions and providing clinical advice
? Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient treatment plans
? Maintain accurate medication records and ensure compliance with hospital policies
? Provide expert pharmaceutical care and advice to both patients and healthcare professionals

To be successful in this role, you will need:

? A valid GPhC registration
? Previous hospital pharmacy experience in ward-based and dispensary settings
? Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work independently
? Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
? A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

This flexible locum position offers full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 9AM – 5PM), with part-time options (3-4 days per week) considered. The contract is for 3-6 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and service needs.
