As a Physics Technician, you'll play a vital part in supporting the smooth delivery of practical science lessons - particularly within the physics department. You'll work alongside teachers and fellow technicians to ensure all experiments are well-prepared, safe, and engaging for students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and setting up physics practicals and demonstrations.

• Maintaining and organising lab equipment and resources.

• Supporting with risk assessments and ensuring Health & Safety (including COSHH compliance).

• Assisting in classrooms during practicals when required.

• Stock control, ordering supplies, and maintaining the prep room.

• Previous experience working as a Science Technician (ideally with a focus in physics).

• Strong understanding of secondary school science curriculums.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

• A science-related qualification (e.g. A-levels, BTEC, or Degree in Physics/Engineering or similar).

• A proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious approach.
