Picker/ Retail Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a retail assistant/ picker to work for our busy and well-established client based in Brimsdown. The role is a full-time temporary position with a view to permanent working from 9.00am-5.30pm (Monday - Friday) with a 30 min unpaid break.

This role offers a rate of £11.44 per hour, increasing to £12.21 on the 1st April

Duties include:

• Assist customers with locating products, answering product-related questions, and providing excellent customer service.
• Receive, organise, and replenish stock in the warehouse and sales floor.
• Ensure shelves are well-stocked, products are properly displayed, and inventory is maintained.
• Prepare orders for customers, ensuring that they are accurate.
• Follow company guidelines to maintain a clean, safe, and secure work environment.
• Operate the cash register, process transactions and handle cash accurately
• Ensure the warehouse is organised, clean, and well-maintained, performing general housekeeping tasks to maintain a tidy work environment.
