Our client is searching for a passionate and skilled Pipeline Coded Welder to join their dynamic field team. About the Role:
As a Pipeline Coded Welder, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of gas transmission. You will work closely with Pipeline Inspectors and the Operations team to plan and execute pipeline projects, ensuring everything is in place for smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilise your expertise in SMAW (MMA), GTAW (TIG), and ideally MIG/MAG welding to join and repair pipes and other metallic components.
• Cut, straighten, and reshape components, and construct supports such as frames.
• Engage in hot-tapping and welding on live pipelines, including Hot Tap Tees and weld'o'flanges.
• Maintain equipment in top condition to ensure safety and performance.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proficient in plate and pipe welding to GTAW, FCAW, SMAW (Gas WPS to P1, P2, P8 & P9).
• Experience with both carbon and stainless-steel materials.
• Ability to work to 100% NDT standards (PAUT/Radiography).
• Fabrication skills are preferred.
• Must be able to pass the 5G (PF/PG Dolly Mix) WQT for consideration.
  

While experience with MIG/MAG welding and stainless steel is a plus, we're primarily looking for someone who is passionate about welding and committed to delivering high-quality work.
