Job Description - Planning Officer

We have an opportunity for an experienced Planner who has worked at a senior level on development management projects to join our Clients team to help them through a busy period.

We are looking for -

Local government experience;
Experience in dealing with strategic site/major applications;
confident in presenting complex applications at Planning Committee and answering Member questions;
The ability to engage proactively with applicants, agents, parish/town councils and elected Members of the Council;
Someone who can work using their initiative and at times work unsupported.

Temporary role expected to be a minimum of 2 months but quite likely longer
