?? Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Hays Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading facilities management provider in York. We are seeking a
Qualified Plumber and a Plumber's Mate to assist with the replacement of 120 radiators across accommodation blocks.
Please note:
This is a confidential client role. Full details will be disclosed at a later stage.
?? Key Responsibilities:

• Removal and installation of radiators in occupied student accommodation
• Assisting with draining, flushing, and refilling heating systems
• Working efficiently to meet project deadlines
• Ensuring all work is compliant with health and safety standards
• Supporting the lead plumber with tools, materials, and logistics (Plumber's Mate)

? Requirements:Plumber:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
• Experience with radiator and heating system installations
• Own tools and PPE

Plumber's Mate:

• Previous experience assisting on plumbing projects
• Good understanding of site safety
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• CSCS card preferred
