Job Description - Policy Advisor

Policy Advisor – £69,305 pro rota - 9 month FTC - Hybrid/London

Intergovernmental body is seeking an experienced Policy Advisor to support their Assistant Secreatary General at their central London headquarters.

This is a 9 month fixed term contract for 9 month period and will pay £69,905 pro rota.

This is a hybrid position, working 2-3 days in the office.

The Policy Advisor will assist Assistant Secretary General in the oversight and coordination of outputs, functions, and schedules for sectional, cross-sectional, and interdivisional projects and programmes, maintaining regular contact with Heads in the Directorate to enhance efficiency, relevance, and timely delivery of initiatives.

The ideal Policy Advisor will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:

Experienced professional with policy and political expertise.
Strong experience in legal processes and management.
A Degree or equivalent in law or political science.
Evidence of good writing skills with in-depth analytical capacity;
Evidence of ability to carry out in-depth research;
High level, valuable and relevant experience in a highly demanding environment.
Evidence of publications either books or peer-reviewed journals;
Impeccable English writing skills;
Lateral thinking, initiative and love for innovation.
