We're looking for a skilled and motivated Power BI Developer to join the Performance Team at the local authority in Children's Services. This role is key to developing a dynamic insight report for the Commissioning Improvement Board.

Key Details:

• 8-week initial contract
• 37 hours per week
• Hybrid working: minimum 1-2 days per week in the office

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, model and deliver data analytics and insights using Power BI
• Create accessible, user-friendly dashboards that meet service needs
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure reporting is fit for purpose
• Use own initiative to deliver results, while collaborating effectively within a team

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in Power BI, SQL Server, Azure and Microsoft Office
• Proven background in Children's Services, particularly children in care
• Solid technical and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate complex data clearly and effectively

Desirable:

• Familiarity with Mosaic
• Experience with additional data visualisation tools
