PPA Cover Teacher

Location: Longsight
Contract Type: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £130-180 (depending on experience)

• Cover PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time across various subjects.
• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons.
• Support student learning and manage classroom behaviour effectively.

This postion could be ideal for an ECT or a more exprienced teacher wanting to try something new. When you are not helping cover lessons you will be working as a HLTA helping as a Ta in the classroom.

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Previous experience in UK schools is preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· QTS or equivalent
· Minimum 1 year Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
