Primary Supply Cover Teaching job, Lambeth, South London

Salary: £160 - £180

This Lambeth primary school is looking for a PPA teacher for 4 days a week.

The school is located near Brixton Station. The school is committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a love of learning in their students.

This role would suit someone with a background of teaching MFL, Science, Computers, Art/DT as the morning slot covers various classes for a 2-hour period and the afternoon will have a focus on covering a non-core subject such as MFL, Science, Computers or Art/DT.

All planning will be done for you.

In the afternoons, you will have the opportunity to engage in creative pursuits, such as Art, Design Technology, Science, Computers, Music, or Modern Foreign Languages. These lessons are also planned using Kapok schemes of work.

About the role

As a cover teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the planned lessons and activities for the classes you are assigned to, following the school's curriculum and policies. You will also be expected to manage the behaviour of the pupils, assess their learning, and provide feedback to the class teachers. You will work closely with the other staff members and receive support and guidance from the senior leadership team.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

**Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

**Experience of teaching in KS1 and KS2

**A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching

**A positive and enthusiastic attitude

**A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
