Job Description - Practice Nurse

Are you a skilled and dedicated Practice Nurse seeking a rewarding opportunity in Primary Care? We are looking for experienced Practice Nurses to support our client across multiple GP surgeries in Hull.

CORE COMPETENCIES: Phlebotomy, Wound Care, Immunisations, Family Planning, Chronic Disease Management, ECG's, Health Promotion, Health Assessments, Blood Pressure and Glucose Monitoring, Smears.

LOCATIONS: Hull - HU6 & HU7

PAY RATES: £28.00p/h PAYE Inclusive of Holiday pay

Block Bookings:

  • Full-time hours (37.5 hours/week)
  • Shift timings: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Weekdays)
  • Duration: Two months initially, with potential extensions.
Adhoc Bookings:

  • Full-day shifts (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) on an as-needed basis
The Person

  • Current NMC Registration
  • Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse within the UK for a minimum of 12 months or more.
  • Highly organised, flexible and able to prioritise effectively.
  • As with all nursing roles, communication skills, problem solving and good judgement are crucial.
