Premise Manager

Premises Manager - Secondary School - Islington

An established secondary school in Islington is looking for an experienced Premises Manager to take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the school site.

This is a key role in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the school environment. You'll be leading a small site team, liaising with contractors, and ensuring that the school remains a safe and welcoming space for students and staff.

The school is looking for a practical, organised individual who can take initiative, solve problems quickly, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Pay: £17 - £20 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: Starting ASAP and running until July 2026, with a strong possibility of extension or permanent appointment from September 2026

Key responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing all aspects of site maintenance and security
• Coordinating planned maintenance and urgent repairs
• Supervising contractors and the site team
• Ensuring health & safety regulations are adhered to at all times
