Prep Room Operative

Berry Recruitment are currently looking for a Prep Room Operative to support a small team within a business based in King's Lynn.

Title: Prep Room Operative

Location: King's Lynn

Working Hours: Monday, Thursday and Friday 8am-5pm (some flexibility is required and more hours could be added)

Hourly Rate: £12.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Lifting and Moving: You will be responsible for lifting and moving vegetable sacks (potatoes, carrots, onions etc).
• Conveyor Belt Preparation: You will be assisting in the preparation of the conveyor belt for processing.
• General Housekeeping: Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the prep room, including disposing of waste properly.
• Adherence to Safety Guidelines: Following safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries during work.

Requirements:

• Physical Fitness: The role involves manual labour, so the operative must be capable of lifting heavy items.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in stock management and conveyor belt preparation is crucial.
• Reliability: Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential for this position.
• Team Player: The operative will work as part of a team, so good communication and cooperation skills are important.

Previous experience required within food production or similar environment.
