We have several temporary nursery assistant positions available throughout summer with the potential of it continuing through term time. We are looking for enthusiastic hardworking candidates who have a passion for teaching in the Early Years sector. The ideal candidate should be available 2-3 days a week

This role is essential in supporting the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and will commence during the summer holidays. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and care of young children, helping to lay the foundation for their future education. • Assist in the delivery of planned educational activities and work programmes whilst promoting independent learning.
• Provide support to the teacher in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
• Help to create a stimulating and safe learning environment.
• Support children’s development through play-based learning.
• Observe and record children’s progress, sharing outcomes with the teacher.
• Assist with the supervision of children during activities and breaks.
• Help to implement strategies to engage and support children with special educational needs.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with parents, carers, and other professionals.

• Experience of working in a nursery.
• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Childcare.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A patient, caring, and creative approach.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
