Prescription Redeemer

Gap Personnel who are operating as an employment business are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Personal Customer Advisor / Prescription Redeemer for a company based in Liverpool, L3 area.

The position is ongoing with a possibility of going into a permanent contract for suitable candidates.

Role Overview:

As part of the Contact Centre Team, the Personal Customer Advisor is responsible for redeeming patient prescriptions through the effective retrieval of both electronic and paper prescriptions.

Qualifications:

Essential:

• Educated to GSCE level

Desirable:

• Vocational qualifications in a relevant field

Experience and Skills:

Essential:

• Attention to detail
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Proactive and self-sufficient
• High level of discretion with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentiality

Desirable:

• Previous experience working in a contact centre environment
• Experience working with patient records and information

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Redeem paper and electronic prescriptions across all licences, scanning them into the correct locations
• Redeem approximately 80+ lines per hour
• Pull prescriptions into the queue from the NHS spine
• Identify if a patients account is 'Order off Script’
• Mark items as 'not dispensed’ and correct quantities where errors are identified or where a surgery has over prescribed
• Return prescriptions
• Withdraw prescriptions and re-dispense or return
• Add chase notes if incorrect product code or quantity was sent on prescription, to support chasers
• Take inbound call where queries are raised by patients or GP surgeries
• Carry out RX checks for nominations and patient details - answering the 'RX check line’
• Action queries that have been sent to the 'Prescription Queries’ inbox
• Support the finalising and completion of monthly submission
• Action 'owings and partial’ for submission prep
• Count paper prescriptions and claim licences for submission
• Confidently action redeeming escalations
• Investigate and resolve complaints from patients or prescription services

Hours of work:

• 9am - 5pm

Pay rate:

• £12.21 per hour
