Job Description - Press Operator

Press Brake Operator required

Experience Required

ST4

Brake Press Operator duties and responsibilities

  • Studying blueprints and specification sheets to understand technical requirements
  • Setting a computer-controlled press brake to project specifications
  • Ensuring proper positioning and alignment of metal inside the press brake
  • Monitoring the pressing process
  • Measuring and inspecting the finished sheet metal to ensure it matches specifications
  • Troubleshooting and addressing problems that arise during the pressing process
  • Performing routine maintenance on the press brake
  • Complying with all health and safety standards in the manufacturing facility

Shifts Days or Nights

Pay DOE

This position is commutable from the following areas Hanley , Stoke on Trent , Newcastle under Lyme , Chesterton , Audley , Meir , Longton , Fenton and surrounding areas
