Shifts: Monday - Thursday, 06:00-14:30 (Early finish at 11:00 on Fridays!)

Our client brings together Pressed Metal, producing over 20 million parts each year for a diverse customer base in automotive, construction, domestic appliances, electronics, rail, and security sectors.
As one of the few true 'single source manufacturers' in the sector, they offer a full range of capabilities including prototyping, presswork, CNC machined parts, MIG/TIG/robotic welding, tube and wire forming, and complex assemblies.

The Role: Press Setter

We are seeking an experienced Press Setter to join our team, playing a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our press shop. Reporting to the Press Shop Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:

• Accurately setting presses to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Running presses in accordance with company procedures to maintain production targets.
• Using lifting equipment to safely move tools and materials in the workshop.
• Performing quality checks on components using inspection tools and visual references against technical drawings.
• Completing documentation and maintaining adherence to quality standards throughout production.
• Keeping your work area clean and organised in line with 5S housekeeping principles.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and wearing correct PPE.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in press setting (power presses).
• ROSPA Certificate - Essential.
• FLT Licence - Desirable.
