The Role
This Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant role offers an excellent opportunity to develop classroom experience by working closely with young learners in Key Stage 1. Responsibilities include supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping to reinforce lesson content, and assisting with literacy and numeracy interventions. You will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff, gaining valuable insight into the education sector.

The Candidate
The school is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for primary education. This role is ideal for those considering a future in teaching, providing essential experience in classroom management, lesson delivery, and pupil engagement. Previous experience working with children, either in schools or other educational settings, is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills, patience, and a proactive attitude are key.
