• Salary: £18.05 per hour
• Start 3rd September 2025 for full academic year.

We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant primary school in Lancaster. This role involves working with small groups to enhance their learning experience according to the KS1 and KS2 curriculum. Three will be whole class responsibilities also.

• Deliver targeted learning interventions to small groups of students in KS1 and KS2
• Work closely with teaching staff to follow and implement lesson plans and activities.
• Monitor and report on the progress of students.
• Create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
• Utilise a variety of educational techniques to cater to different learning needs and styles within the group.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the overall learning experience of the students.

• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum.
• Proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or similar role.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a whole class setting.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with other teaching staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students and staff.
