Primary Supply Teacher

Your new school
Here at Hays we work in partnership with a wide range of primary schools across the whole of the Warrington Education Authority.A number of these schools have indicated they will need supply teachers in September. They will be needed for covering short and long-term absences, interim cover for roles that have not yet been recruited and PPA / ECT time cover, in addition to the usual emergency sickness cover.

Your new role
Working on day-to-day supply, you will be covering a combination of morning, afternoon and full-day bookings across all year groups from Nursery / EYFS through to Year 6. This will give you an excellent opportunity to work at a wide range of schools and learn new methods and practices. Being on day-to-day supply will give you the flexibility to select which year groups you want to work in as well as how many days a week you are wanting to work.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to:

• Hold qualified teacher status
• Have recent and relevant experience working within a KS1 classroom that we can reference
• Be an approachable and patient primary teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to quickly build effective relationships with students, parents and colleagues
