Randstad Education is searching for dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in our partner schools across Wakefield, starting in September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity to experience a variety of school environments, from bustling community schools to smaller village settings, while providing crucial support to both teachers and pupils. Whether you're an experienced TA seeking more flexibility or looking to build upon your classroom experience, we want to hear from you.

Your Role Will Involve:

• Supporting the class teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Working with pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to reinforce their learning.
• Helping to create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and classroom displays.
• Supporting pupils with diverse needs, including SEN.

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience working with primary school-aged children in an educational or care setting.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• An adaptable and positive approach to new challenges.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or a willingness to apply for one).
