Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher with a passion for nurturing young minds? St. Teresa’s Primary School in Irlam is seeking a committed Year 4 Teacher to join their vibrant and supportive school community. This is a fixed-term opportunity from the 28th April for the rest of the academic year, offering a fantastic chance to make a real impact on the learning and development of the children.

We are looking for a strong teacher with a deep understanding of the Year 4 curriculum, who can deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire a love for learning. You will work closely with experienced staff, and contribute to creating a positive, well-structured, and respectful classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching in Year 4, ensuring lessons are engaging, differentiated, and accessible to all learners.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support the wellbeing and progress of all pupils.
• Contribute to the school’s wider community and extra-curricular activities.

• A qualified teacher with experience in teaching Year 4 or a similar age group.
• Passionate about education and creating a positive learning environment for all children.
• Strong classroom management skills, with a commitment to maintaining a high standard of teaching and learning.
• Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire pupils.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
