Primary Teacher - Alternative Provision

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a Primary Teacher to work within an Alternative Provision in Preston. As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 2. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within children from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, be able to deescalate challenging behaviour and understand SEMH.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students within Key Stage 2
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
* Manage and deescalate challenging behaviour using positive behaviour management strategies.
* Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience of teaching students from Key Stage 1 up to Key Stage 2.
* A strong understanding of SEMH.
* Excellent behaviour management skills.
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons to a diverse range of students.

Desirable Requirements:
* Experience of working within an Alternative Provision setting.
* Experience of working with students with Special Educational Needs.
