About the School: Reed Education are working alongside a thriving double form entry primary school located in the picturesque area of St. Ives, Cambridgeshire. This school is renowned for its supportive and dynamic Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all students.

Role Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Year 5 Teacher to join this dedicated team from September. This role is in collaboration with Reed Education, and we are looking for a passionate educator with a strong track record in classroom and behavioural management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons to Year 5 students.
• Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
• Collaborating with colleagues to plan and implement the curriculum.
• Assessing and tracking student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
• Participating in school events and contributing to the wider school community.

Requirements:

• Full UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
• A UK address and the right to work in the UK.
• Previous experience working with Key Stage 2 (KS2) students.
• Excellent classroom and behavioural management skills.
