Job Description - Primary Teacher

Horizon Teachers is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Enfield, who are seeking a KS2 Primary Teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2025. This is a full-time position (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM), ideal for a teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging, inclusive learning experiences and making a real impact in the classroom.

This school has a warm, inclusive atmosphere, where staff feel supported and valued, and pupils are encouraged to thrive both academically and personally. It's a fantastic environment for a teacher looking to grow professionally and be part of a collaborative team.

The Role

We're looking for an inspiring and committed KS2 Teacher who can bring energy, creativity, and structure to the classroom. You'll play a key role in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum while supporting the individual needs of each child-academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the KS2 National Curriculum
  • Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and learning styles
  • Foster a positive, respectful classroom culture that supports both behaviour and engagement
  • Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records in line with school policy
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and the school's SENCO to ensure each child reaches their full potential

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (either during placements or in a current role)
  • Strong classroom management skills and a nurturing teaching style
  • A commitment to inclusive education and a willingness to go the extra mile
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
