Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for KS1 pupils in line with the National Curriculum
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports early development in literacy, numeracy, and social skills
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to support individual needs
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil learning and well-being
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership to deliver high-quality education
• Uphold the school's values and contribute to the wider school community

What We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or Year 2)
• A nurturing, creative, and engaging teaching approach
• Strong understanding of the EYFS to KS1 transition
• Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices and a commitment to children's welfare
• Excellent communication skills and classroom management
• Right to work in the UK
