Primary Teaching Assistant

Romano Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a Year 5 class in a primary school in Leyland. This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term role.

• Support a Year 5 teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management

• Provide small group interventions in English and Maths

• Assist with classroom activities and general learning support

• Work closely with pupils to improve engagement and progress

• Maintain a positive and nurturing classroom environment

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in KS2

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting learning

• Position:Primary Teaching Assistant - Year 5 Support

• Location: Leyland

• Start Date: Immediate Start

• Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (Until July)

• Pay Rate: £15.94 per hour
