Primary Teaching Assistant

Are you a passionate and dedicated individual looking to make a real difference in young lives? We're seeking a Key Stage 1 General Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community!

We're open to candidates with a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent. While prior school experience is a plus, we welcome enthusiastic applicants ready to grow with us.

This varied role, starting in September 2025, will have you providing essential classroom support, including:

• Preparing engaging activities to enhance learning.
• Maintaining a tidy and organised learning environment.
• Supervising and supporting children during break and lunch times.
• Nurturing reading skills through side-by-side reading and journal logging.
• Providing crucial 1:1 support for pupils needing catch-up sessions or assistance with special educational needs.
• Working with the class Teacher, SENCO and senior leadership team to maintain and increase education standards.

Strong IT skills are a real advantage, and an understanding of how to use an iPad will be beneficial in our modern learning environment.

We are recruiting for a selection of schools across the Fylde Coast. You will be placed at a school based on your location.

All roles run between Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, term time. We have a selection of part-time and full-time roles available within these time brackets.
