Primary - Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team in our fantastic and popular primary school. This role is ideal for someone who has experience caring for children aged 2- 5 years and is familiar with the EYFS framework and development matters. The position offers a supportive environment with opportunities for development and progression.

• Provide care and support to children withing the schools EYFS setting
• Implement continuous provision methods to enhance learning and development according to the EYFS framework.
• Work collaboratively with experienced staff to plan and deliver educational activities.
• Monitor and record children’s progress, adapting learning activities to meet their developmental needs.
• Ensure a safe, nurturing environment for all children.
• Teach and deliver engaging phonics sessions

• Minimum of a Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Proven experience in caring for children aged 2 - 5 years.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and development matters.
• Knowledge of continuous provision and its impact on learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent knowledge of SSP and its impact on early reading and writing
• Proactive, hardworking, punctual, and reliable.
