Primary Teaching Assistant - Runcorn

The Supply Register is proud to partner with the Wade Deacon Trust and Heath Family Trust, supporting primary schools across Halton, including Bridgewater Park and Weston Point Primary Schools. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEN/D) to provide essential 1:1 support to a student with additional needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting a student who may be non-verbal or require tailored communication strategies. You will work closely with school staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes both academic and personal development.

? Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a student with SEN/D, including non-verbal communication techniques.
? Work closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to implement effective support strategies.
? Assist in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
? Support the student’s emotional and social development with a patient and adaptable approach.

? Experience working with children with additional needs, particularly those who are non-verbal.
? A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to learning support.
? A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
? Availability to work Monday to Friday during school hours.
