Prime Finishing Manager - Waterloo

Our client is a prestigious main contractor renowned for delivering some of London's most desirable and architecturally refined residential developments. Known for their meticulous attention to detail and uncompromising quality, they are now seeking an exceptional Freelance Finishing Manager to join one of their flagship luxury schemes-featuring premium apartments and penthouses of the highest calibre.

This is an ongoing temp role, until December 2025.

The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to be part of a project that defines excellence in craftsmanship and contemporary living. You'll be entrusted with the final stages of the build, ensuring that every detail meets the expectations of discerning clientele and aligns with the brand's reputation for refined luxury.

Key Responsibilities

• Immaculate Finishing: Oversee all aspects of the finishing phase, ensuring exceptional quality across high-spec interiors, bespoke joinery, and tailored finishes.

• Luxury Standards: Manage the handover process of luxury apartments and penthouses, with an uncompromising eye for detail and precision.

• Team Coordination: Direct and coordinate subcontractors and specialist trades to ensure seamless, timely delivery.

• Client & Consultant Liaison: Represent the contractor on-site to high-end clients, consultants, and design teams, ensuring expectations are consistently exceeded.

• Snag Management: Identify, document, and resolve any defects efficiently, ensuring a pristine product at handover.

• Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to health and safety standards on-site, while upholding quality benchmarks.

About You

• Track Record of Excellence: Proven experience delivering luxury residential developments, including high-rise or penthouse units, with a main contractor or high-end developer.

• Detail-Obsessed: You bring a refined eye and an insistence on perfection-nothing escapes your notice.

• Leadership & Finesse: You lead with confidence and professionalism, coordinating site teams with authority and grace.

• Client-Facing Experience: Comfortable engaging with UHNW clients, architects, and designers.

• Qualifications: Construction-related qualifications are preferred, alongside SMSTS and CSCS.
