PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTANT - HYBRID ROLE

FIXED TERM CONTRACT - TWELVE MONTHS

MONDAY - FRIDAY (WORKING THREE DAYS A WEEK IN THE OFFICE): 8AM - 5PM

£53,741- £57,572 PER ANNUM

People Solutions are looking for an experienced finance professional to join our client's finance team, with specific responsibility for capital accounting.

This is initially a fixed-term contract of twelve months.

Day to day duties

• To provide support to and deputise for the finance manager
• To manage the relevant finance team in the absence of the finance manager
• Attend service team and staff team meetings
• To participate in performance review and development
• To document all work-based procedures relating to the post

Essential Skills

• Must be a qualified Accountant for this role
• To be accountable for and promote equality, diversity and community cohesion to meet directorate and service objectives

• To participate in a performance review and development meeting and undertake training, when necessary, to develop skills and expertise in a professional manner
• All employees must be flexible in their approach and undertake other duties that are commensurate with the post they hold
• To represent the organisation in a professional manner meeting the corporate and director aims
• To comply with financial regulations and standing orders
• To lead on all financial accounting aspects for capital, treasury and leasing transactions
• Must undergo a DBS check for this role
• Must have Driving Licence and own vehicle, with motor insurance for business use
• You will need to be able to work to strict and challenging deadlines and be committed to maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards in the financial activities
