• Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) - Band 5 or Band 6

• Location: Shropshire area

• Duration: 3-month ongoing contract

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:30 AM - 3:30 PM

• Start Date: ASAP

• End Date: TBC

• Rate of Pay: £21.00 per hour (Band 5) / £26.50 per hour (Band 6)

Join a multidisciplinary healthcare team delivering essential mental health services within a secure prison setting. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting mental health assessments and risk evaluations

• Supporting individuals with complex needs and crisis presentations

• Administering medication and supporting treatment plans

• Collaborating with prison healthcare, security, and external providers

• Documenting care and adhering to ACCT procedures

• Providing one-to-one and group-based mental health interventions

• NMC registration and active PIN

• Prison clearance (essential)

• Prior experience working within a prison mental health setting

• Full UK driver's licence

• Strong clinical skills, risk awareness, and crisis management experience

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 07:30 AM - 3:30 PM. The contract is for 3 months ongoing with high likelihood of extension based on performance and service needs.
