Job Title: Private Assets Business Analyst (Financial Services Asset Management)
Location: Edinburgh or London
Salary/Rate: £500-£540 per day
Start Date: March
Job Type: 6 month initial contract - Inside IR35

Company Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Private Asset expertise to join a leading consultancy delivering critical services to major Financial Services clients. The successful candidate will support complex private asset-related activities and will engage directly with end clients to resolve queries, enhance processes, and support ongoing change initiatives.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Handle, investigate, and resolve private asset queries from a broad range of end clients.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and provide analytical insights.
• Support private asset workflows, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with regulatory and operational standards.
• Produce clear documentation including process flows, requirements, and impact assessments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across private asset operations and reporting.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Proven background as a Business Analyst within Private Assets / Alternatives / Private Markets.
• Strong understanding of private asset data, processes, and client-servicing models.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with clients.
• Experience working within large, complex Financial Services organisations.
• Ability to operate within a consultancy environment, managing multiple priorities.
