Probation Officer- Remote

Red Snapper is seeking a qualified Probation Officer to support a Probation Delivery Unit on a part-time, remote basis, preparing Pre-Sentence Reports for the courts.

Duration: 3 months, with possibility of extension | 2 Days per Week (18 hours)
£19.90 PAYE | £26.20 Umbrella per hour

Role Overview

Working remotely for 18 hours per week over 2 days, you will be responsible for the timely preparation and submission of high-quality Pre-Sentence Reports (stand-down, fast delivery, and standard reports as required), providing clear risk assessments and sentencing recommendations.

• Qualified Probation Officer (PQIP, DipPS, or equivalent) - essential

• Recent experience in PSR writing and court report preparation

• Strong working knowledge of OASys and nDelius

• Ability to work independently and manage workload to deadlines

• Confident in using remote working systems (Teams, secure email, etc.)

• Fully remote working - flexible and ideal for experienced POs seeking part-time hours
