Our Client: United Utilities is the UK’s largest listed water company, managing the regulated water and wastewater systems in the Northwest of England. They are committed to providing high-quality water and sewage services to over seven million people and businesses in the region.

1. Job Title: Process Operator
2. Location: Preston
3. Contract: 3 month w/ perm available after
4. Hourly Pay Rate: £15.35 per hour w/ overtime available at 1.5x or 2x
5. Working Hours: 37 hours per week
6. Start Date: ASAP

The Role: We are seeking a diligent and dedicated Process Operator. The role involves general labouring duties, taking samples of wastewater, starting machinery, and cleaning. This is a hands-on position that requires a self-motivated individual who is willing to learn.

Key Requirements:

1. Good Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
2. Willingness to Work in All Weather Conditions: This role involves outdoor work in various weather conditions.
3. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Provided: PPE will be provided to ensure safety on the job.
4. Good Attitude and Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential. No formal qualifications are required.
5. Initiative: Ability to ask for more work and take initiative.
6. Driving License: Must have a valid driving license, but a personal vehicle is not required.
7. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
8. Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a smelly and dirty environment.
