Procurement Analyst

Are you passionate about procurement data analysis and driving efficiency in supply chain management? I'm looking for a Procurement Analyst - Indirect to join a global manufacturing business. In this role, you will analyse purchasing trends, optimise procurement strategies, and support strategic decision-making through data insights.

? Build and maintain an accurate and efficient supplier database
? Provide essential procurement data and KPIs to buyers, third-party partners, and suppliers
? Work closely with Finance to ensure regular data extractions from ERP to BI tools
? Lead a project to align Indirect Spend Categorisation across all plants
? Develop and maintain reports for key KPIs (savings, supplier count, payment terms, etc.)
? Analyse procurement data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
? Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to support procurement strategies
? Build reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions to drive decision-making
? Collaborate with the SAP project team to establish standardised reports for Indirect Procurement
? Train the procurement team on key reports and data analysis tools

Experience: Background in supplier management or procurement
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, BI tools, and data analysis
Systems Knowledge: SAP experience is highly desirable
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
Collaboration: Ability to work with internal teams and external suppliers
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Project Management: Basic project management skills are a plus
Work Ethic: Flexible, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
