Procurement and Contracts Officer

Pay rate: £20.21 per hour - £26.09 per hour

Location: Walking distance from Bank station

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Expertise: Leverage your experience in procurement or buying within a similarly sized and complex organisation.
• Legislative Knowledge: Apply your detailed understanding of UK public procurement legislation and guidelines, including FTS (formerly OJEU) procedures.
• Project Management: Utilise your project management skills to oversee and deliver successful procurement projects.
• Problem Solving: Analyse and present solutions to complex and sensitive issues with confidence and clarity.
• Communication: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Interpersonal Skills: Build and maintain long-term working relationships both within the organisation and externally.
• Team Player: Work collaboratively towards common goals while also being able to work independently and prioritise workloads.
• Technical Proficiency: Use your working knowledge of eTendering, Contract Register, and Survey tools to streamline procurement processes.
• Local Government Insight: Apply your understanding of local government processes and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
