United Utilities are seeking a Procurement Officer (Sourcing Specialist) to provide commercial support to our Goods Ordering Team. This role involves a range of responsibilities from creating reports to managing supplier relationships, making it ideal for someone with strong administrative, procurement, and analytical skills.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Create and manage reports for the team to utilise in preparing reports and tenders.
• Draft agreements for tender packs and pre-qualifying questions to streamline the procurement process.
• Handle enquiries from suppliers and delivery partners, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Administer the SharePoint site, updating supporting information from the team and suppliers to keep records accurate and current.
• Attend supplier meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of requirements and foster strong relationships.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a sourcing or procurement role.
• Strong ability to create and manage detailed reports.
• Experience in drafting agreements and handling pre-qualifying questions for tenders.
• Excellent administrative skills, with experience managing content on platforms like SharePoint.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to attend and contribute to supplier meetings, understanding and communicating requirements effectively.
