BAE Systems is looking for a driven Procurement Specialist to join their dynamic Procurement Delivery Team. In this pivotal role, you’ll contribute to the success of major projects by delivering procurement expertise and solutions that drive real value and operational excellence.

Key Skills

• At least 5 years’ experience in procurement or a similar environment.
• Strong knowledge and application of procurement principles, sourcing, contracting, and supplier management.
• Business-savvy with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ideally CIPS Level 5 qualified (or working towards / equivalent).
• Confident working independently with excellent prioritisation and decision-making skills.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong internal and external networks.

The Job:

• Deliver procurement services and strategy to meet business needs.
• Drive innovative procurement solutions across complex and high-value packages.
• Take ownership of procurement capability for assigned suppliers within delivery projects.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders
• Implement risk management strategies within your area of responsibility.
• Deploy corporate procurement processes tailored to local and business requirements.
• Manage workload independently while escalating issues when necessary
