The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to join a major public sector digital transformation programme. You'll play a key role in shaping and delivering user-centred digital services, working within a multidisciplinary agile team to drive product strategy, prioritisation and delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to services that make a tangible impact on citizens while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Define and communicate product vision, strategy and roadmaps
Prioritise backlogs based on user needs, business value and technical considerations
Work closely with delivery, design, research and engineering teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
Engage with senior stakeholders to align priorities and manage expectations
Use user research, data and insights to inform product decisions
Ensure products are delivered in line with GDS standards and best practices
Support continuous improvement and service optimisation activities

Essential Experience

Proven experience working as a Product Manager within complex digital environments
Recent experience delivering products and services aligned to GDS standards
Strong public sector or government experience
Demonstrable experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps and stakeholder relationships
Experience working within agile multidisciplinary teams
Strong understanding of user-centred design principles

Desirable Experience

Experience delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes
Familiarity with service assessments and government delivery frameworks
Experience working with multiple suppliers and stakeholders
