We are seeking an experienced Product/UX Designer with active DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance for a high-impact role within a secure central government department, operating via a leading consultancy.

Key Details:

• You must hold active DV clearance (due to the sensitivity of the work, we cannot consider candidates without this level of clearance).
• Full-time, on-site in central London (no remote or hybrid options due to the secure environment).
• Outside IR35 engagement - Limited Company contractors welcome.

About the Role:

You'll be embedded in a multidisciplinary agile team, working on complex and critical services used across government. Your focus will be to:

• Design user-centred products and services aligned with government standards.
• Translate research and insights into elegant, intuitive interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, Researchers and Service Designers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes in secure environments.
• Essential Skills & Experience: Proven track record as a Product Designer or UX Designer on complex digital services.
• Strong understanding of user-centred design and GDS (Government Digital Service) standards.
• Experience working in agile teams within government or high-security environments.
• Excellent interaction and interface design skills, with a strong portfolio to support.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in cross-functional teams.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with working within consultancies or supplier-side for government clients.
• Experience in secure or defence-related environments.
