Are you a detail-driven Production Accountant with a flair for managing budgets in a fast-paced, creative environment? We’re partnering with a dynamic and growing production company in the heart of the TV industry, and they’re looking for an experienced Production Accountant to join their team in Bristol on a 12-month contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key role within a high-performing finance function, working closely with senior production and finance stakeholders to support some of the most exciting factual TV content being made today.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading on cash flow management and delivering regular, accurate updates

• Supporting the creation and validation of production budgets

• Analysing project profitability and recoverability

• Conducting detailed reviews of cost reports and preparing final cost summaries for broadcaster delivery

• Overseeing production recharges and recoverables

• Coordinating production audits and ensuring compliance

• Reconciling cost reports with the core accounting system each month

• Partnering with editorial and production teams to assess the financial impact of creative decisions

• Acting as a go-to support and training resource for production teams

• Holding regular finance check-ins with Production Managers and Executives

What we’re looking for:

• Min of 3 years experience in TV production accounting

• Studying towards ACCA OR CIMA

• Familiarity with HETV tax credit processes and PMI software (a plus)

• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities with diplomacy and efficiency

• A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative setting
