Production Operative

Pertemps Swindon are currently looking for production operatives to join our client based in Swindon.

Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00 for first 12 weeks when training.
After 12 weeks Monday to Friday rotating shift 06:00-14:10 and 14:00-22:10 Monday to Friday with early finish 19:00 on Friday.pay will be £12.25 plus shift allowance.

Pay rate £11.86 on days and £12.25 plus shift allowance when on shifts.
There will be a pay review in April.
Overtime available and paid 1.5 rate for Saturday and double rate on Sunday.

Main duties:

• Operating machinery in safety manner
  
  
• Preparing components for further processing
  
  
• Reporting equipment faults
  
  
• Maintain clean working environment
• Following Operating Procedures
  
  

Right candidate:

• Proven previous machining or manufacturing experience
  
  
• Strong communication skills written and verbal
  
  
• Be able to work towards KPI in safely manner
  
  
• Be comfortable to perform repetitive tasks
  
  
• Good practical skills
